These lovable cat-themed sweets were made by Caroline, a Japanese housewife. She creates them annually on Cat’s Day — February 22. The cat-shaped sweets are nerikiri: a traditional Japanese sweet made by mixing sweet white bean paste and glutinous rice. Caroline tints and sculpts them into various shapes and styles; then puts them on pancakes and doughnuts as edible decorations. They’re just too cute to eat!
Take me back home :(
A woman has converted a tiny cabin in the woods in to her dream Victorian home.
I am in love.
You guys might recognize some of the thumbnails and a preview from a post awhile back… here’s the finished piece! :D
Done for the charity artbook Memorieal which recently gave us the go-ahead to upload the illustrations we did earlier this year. As a kid I had a flying/gliding bear species based off this stuffed animal (I named them “Pinky Bears” since I was an original precious snowflake). They were the mortal enemies of eagles, and they primarily ate fish — which they stored underground in burrows. Since that’s what bears do.
Is this one about to grab one or shake its fin? WE MAY NEVER KNOW.

Things i know about free!: nothing

Counting down Scotland to six weeks now. Hope my photographs are anything close to this beautiful. Finally shipped my friend in Montana back her pro camera and after much deliberation over the Iceland outtakes, I have decided to jump into the deep end and buy my own pro pack for travel photography. Thinking a Mark III. I can’t just up and skip off to Scotland without one, now can I? No. The home in the first image is basically my dream home. I might not come back to the States. I might leave my life for that of a Scottish rancher instead.
… AND THAT IS THE WAY I MAKE FIRE! Simple and messy “how to gry”.
